Last week 7 of our parent carer ‘reps’ gave up their day to attend Worcestershire’s SEND Strategy Delivery Plan Review. Working alongside senior managers from across children’s and adults’ education, health and social care, our reps shared the experiences and perspectives of Worcestershire’s SEND families. We fed back on the quality of coproduction and inclusive practice, as well as reviewing live delivery projects and workstreams. It was an intense morning but our reps maximised the opportunity to influence future SEND strategy iterations. These sessions are now a regular occurrence in the local area partnership’s SEND improvement schedule and we are fully committed to ensuring the collective voice and experiences of Worcestershire’s SEND families are heard loud and clear.
