Calling All FiP Members!
Last month your new FiP Steering Group (Berni, Hazel & Iona) set out our immediate priorities for FiP and these included updating our constitution.
A working party was created and opened up to FiP members and any Worcestershire parent carers that wanted to be involved.
10 parent carers took up the challenge and enthusistically contributed their expertise in governance, law and lived experience. It was a very productive 2 hours and we are enormously grateful to everyone that attended.
After some subsequent too-ing and fro-ing on email, the final draft is now ready for comment. We invite FiP members to download a copy and email us their comments to worcspcf@gmail.com.
The final constitution will be proposed at the first Steering Group meeting after our AGM that is scheduled for Thursday 21st March 2024.
