Thank you to everyone who attended our official AGM today. 13 parent carers from Worcestershire attended and were updated on the forum’s activities from April 2023 to March 2024. Official AGM minutes will follow shortly, but here are some of the highlights…
We were sorry to say goodbye to Iona Walton who officially stood down from the WPCF Steering Group.
But we were also delighted to vote in Nicole Scully and Jackie Roberts as new Steering Group members and the forum’s new Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Co-Chairs Hazel Shaw and Bernadette Louise were also voted back into their roles after a period of interim governance.
The new steering group is confident that with our new structure, clear mandate, and renewed focus, we can continue to represent Worcestershire’s parent carers effectively and drive some much-needed change in Worcestershire’s SEND system.
