Quality Assurance Visit to ‘Deep Dive’ Worcestershire’s CAMHS Service

WPCF are pleased to be involved in today’s quality assurance visit to ‘deep dive’ the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) service here in Worcestershire. This visit was initiated following extensive feedback from parent carers to WPCF and Healthwatch.

Back in November 2024, the Managing Director of Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust met with parent carers at the SEND Views & Voices event in Worcester where concerns about CAMHS were raised.

In December directors and senior managers from NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire met with a WPCF parent carer focus group who also shared their families’ experiences of CAMHS services.

Today’s quality assurance visit is NHS Herefordshire and Worcestershire’s first step in the CAMHS quality assurance visit which is expected to last a couple of months. WPCF will continue to be involved and support the process and will update you when we’re able.
